‘Star Trek’ to return on CBS next year

Star Trek: Discovery will return to CBS in 2018, a new report says.

The network announced on Wednesday that the sci-fi series, which is produced by CBS Television Studios, will return in 2018.

Discovery will also air on CBS All Access.

CBS All America, which airs CBS All-Access, has yet to announce a release date for Discovery, but a network representative said the network is “actively working on a date.”

The show is the first CBS All Star series to debut in 2018 after a two-season hiatus.

The show’s star, John Cho, is expected to return in the fall.

Cho’s last appearance on TV came on CBS’ Person of Interest, a spinoff of NBC’s NBC drama The Blacklist.
