The Echo Dot is the latest in a line of Amazon Echo devices that use the Alexa voice assistant.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to stream Amazon’s content from the Echo.
The first step is to setup an Amazon Prime subscription, which will allow you to stream Prime-approved titles to the Echo, Amazon’s top-rated voice assistant that’s a free app on both iOS and Android.
Then you can start the process of buying the Echo by buying the $149 Echo Dot Starter Pack.
If you want to get a feel for the Echo’s features, you can watch a demo of the device, which lets you play your favorite videos, pause, rewind, skip to the beginning and end of a video, and browse your Amazon library for new movies and TV shows.
Here’s how you can do that:1.
Create a new Amazon Prime account.
The easiest way to create a new account is to sign up for Amazon Prime and then add a video to your library.
The Prime membership comes with a free Amazon Video Unlimited subscription, a free Prime Day subscription, and a free two-day trial of Amazon Prime.2.
Choose a Prime-authorized device to stream content to the device.
If you want your device to work with the Echo without needing a Prime subscription and are just looking for a new device, the Echo 3 costs $99 and is the cheapest device available.3.
Make sure your device has Amazon Prime on it.
In the top left corner of the screen, tap the plus icon to go to the Amazon Store and then tap Amazon.
If your device doesn’t have Amazon Prime, you’ll have to enter your Amazon Prime number and password.
If it does, enter your Google account password, and then follow the onscreen instructions to add the device to the Prime program.4.
Tap the Amazon TV icon to add an Amazon TV box to the list of devices you want Amazon to play content to.
If all goes well, you should see an AmazonTV box.
If not, you may have to wait for Amazon to add your device and for Amazon TV to start automatically playing content.5.
Once your device is added to the app, you will be able to browse the Amazon Alexa voice search to search for a title, and to start streaming that title.6.
When you find a title you want, simply tap the video you want.
You can also swipe to play, pause and rewind.
If there are many available titles, you won’t have to tap the play button.7.
The device will play the title and display a list of the available titles on the screen.
Select the title that you want and the device will begin streaming.8.
You’ll see a list on the device of all available devices to play that title to.
You should see the titles displayed in the screen for a few seconds.
You will also see a banner saying that the device is playing the title.9.
After you finish playing the video, the device should automatically restart and start playing the next title.
If the video ends, the devices next video will start playing, too.
